Particle Production on Half S-brane
نویسنده
چکیده
In this paper we will study quantum field theory of fluctuation modes around the rolling tachyon solution on non-BPS D-brane effective action. The goal of this paper is to study particle production during the decay of non-BPS D-brane and explore possible relation with minisuperspace calculation. We find that the number of particles produced on half S-brane exponentially grows for large time which suggests that linearised approximation breaks down and also that backreaction of fluctuation field on classical solution should be taken into account. ∗On leave from Masaryk University, Brno

Branes in external field or more about Randall - Sundrum scenario
Fate of branes in external fields is reviewed with emphasis on a spontaneous creation of the Brane World. No negative tension brane is involved. The word " brane " in this talk will stand for a multidimensional relativistic massive film, possibly charged with respect to an n-form (gauge) field. The branes below can be viewed on as the fundamental ones or as effective ones, e.g. domain walls. It...
متن کاملBlack Hole and Brane Production in Tev Gravity: a Review
In models with large extra dimensions particle collisions with center-of-mass energy larger than the fundamental gravitational scale can generate non-perturbative gravitational objects such as black holes and branes. The formation and the subsequent decay of these super-Planckian objects would be detectable in particle colliders and high energy cosmic ray detectors, and have interesting implica...
متن کاملCross sections for production of closed superstrings at high energy colliders in brane world models
1550-7998=20 In brane world string models with large extra dimensions, there are processes where fermion and antifermion (or two gluons) can annihilate producing a light particle (e.g. gluon) carrying transverse momentum and a Kaluza-Klein graviton or an excited closed string that propagates in the extra dimensions. In high energy colliders, this process gives a missing-momentum signature. We c...
متن کاملCreating semiclassical black holes in collider experiments and keeping them on a string
We argue that a simple modification of the TeV scale quantum gravity scenario allows production of semiclassical black holes in particle collisions at the LHC. The key idea is that in models with large extra dimensions the strength of gravity in the bulk can be higher than on the brane where we live. A well-known example of this situation is the case of warped extra dimensions. Even if the ener...
متن کاملA time-dependent brane in a cosmological background
We study a moving D-brane in a time-dependent background. There is particle production both because of non-trivial cosmological evolution, and by closed string emission from the brane that gradually decelerates due to a gain in mass. The particular model under study is a D0-brane in an SL(2, R)/U(1) cosmology – the techniques used extend to other backgrounds.
